AgilOne Partners with K.I.D.S. / Fashion Delivers to deliver "Better than Free" Events!

February 26, 2015

Last year, AgilOne quietly started a program with the K.I.D.S. / Fashion Delivers organization. We were first introduced to the organization by our customers Lafayette 148 and Deckers. Many others in the fashion industry are already product donors: see a complete list here.

Attend an AgilOne Educational Event and automatically Do Good!

For every attendee to an AgilOne conference or round-table dinner, AgilOne is donating $5 to K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers. For every attendee to an AgilOne Academy Webinar, AgilOne is donating $1 to K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers. These donations add up. In 2014, AgilOne was able to write a $5,000 check and we hope to do better in 2015. So when you come to one of our educational events, you are doing some good as well. These events are "Better than Free"!

Thanks to our donations, many around the country were able to get a new winter coat and keep warm!

A little more about Fashion Delivers:

fashion delivers kidsKids In Distressed Situations (K.I.D.S.) was founded in 1985 by children’s industry executives, and in 2005 Fashion Delivers was created by adult apparel and home fashions professionals.  On April 7, 2014 the two organizations merged to become K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers, Inc., allowing us to better serve families in need and supporting our continuing efforts to aid kids and adults.  We help fight poverty and tragedies through the gift of new products, including apparel, accessories, shoes, home furnishings, toys, books, school supplies and other items. Excess merchandise is donated from companies that make or market the goods, and we deliver hope and dignity to people in need through community nonprofit partners. Since 1985, over $1 billion of donated products have been distributed through our network, serving the poor and disadvantaged worldwide.

Cause Marketing is a big trend

Peter Paris gave a presentation at our Predict! NYC event in the Fall of 2014 about Cause Marketing.

His presentation is included here:

His presentation includes program examples from the likes of Burlington Stores, BCBG Stores, Skechers, Carter's, and Echo Design.

Feel free to reach out to us directly if you have any questions.

We hope you will support K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers as well, either directly or by attending an AgilOne event.
