As marketers and content creators, one of our greatest hopes is that something we create will go absolutely viral and blow up the internet. Well, in all honesty, this isn’t something that happens very often, but it isn’t impossible either. Some nights, we’re browsing the web and we stumble across a video of a kitten with over 1 million views, and it get us wondering how this happened. For us, content creators, there isn’t a formula we stick to that simply creates viral content. Many times, it’s a gamble that costs us hours of our writing, design, and production time. I know, it drives me crazy too.

Relax, we haven’t found the ultimate viral formula either and that’s not what we’re here to share with you today. We have, whoever, found that great viral content share many of the same factors that help it connect with audiences. When determining how to go about your next content creation, consider that high-quality content is not only well designed and easily digestible, it is emotionally charged and encourages a natural reaction from viewers that promotes the urge to share.
